In fact, it is a partly single-lane road where coaches are not allowed. Just as well, everybody knows that small roads in rural Ireland often lead to the most breathtaking places. And St. Finian´s Bay is surely one of them.

And of course watching the stars. The house is located in the "Kerry Dark Sky Reserve" with no light polution but millions of stars in clear nights.
Tig na Cille is set between Portmagee and Ballinskelligs in Keel at St.Finian´s Bay. The nearby Skelligs Ring is not so well known as the famous Ring of Kerry, but offers also fanstatic views across the Atlantic.

1990 my family and I spent a holiday in Kells, County Kerry, Ireland. It was paradise. The landlady we booked the house with asked me to take some of my enthusiasm back home to Germany and, this way, advertise her house on the German market, which I was more than glad to do. Soon some of the landlady’s neighbours found out and asked me to do the same for their houses – and here I am. * I used to write the years, but they kept adding so quickly.
