The Danielenhof in the beautiful Jostal lies in an idyllic south-facing location. Magnificent views and secluded, yet Feldberg, Titisee, thermal baths and shops can be reached quickly. Space for up to 13 people! The ancient farmhouse, built in 1701, has been completely renovated and has retained its original shape. The smoke-blackened walls were updated with white-plastered walls where necessary or specified. The country house furnishings have been lovingly supplemented by old individual pieces. Everything is very comfortable and tastefully decorated in a moderate country house style. A rustic dream. Quite low ceiling height in some parts!
A spring located above the house provides you with drinking and process water, our own bio-purification plant cleans the water and returns it to the water cycle. The innovative infrared heating (panels on ceilings or walls or mirrors in the bathrooms) ensures pleasant warmth.

The climatic health resort Breitnau is located on a plateau east of Freiburg at a height of 1000 meters. Picturesque farms draw attention, from here you can see far above the mountains and valleys of the Black Forest to the 1493 meter high Feldberg, the highest peak in the holiday region.
What makes Breitnau special are beautiful paths through a wide open landscape. That delights hikers and Nordic walkers. The varied environment is also a challenge for mountain bikers. An insider tip for hikers is the romantic Ravenna Gorge, which leads in narrow winds down to Hofgut Sternen in Höllental. This valley is the main connection between the Rhine plain and the Black Forest and is famous for its legendary deer jump: a monument to the famous deer has been erected high above the Höllental. At the narrowest point, he managed to escape his pursuers by leaping over the gorge.
And as soon as the first snow has fallen on the Breitnauer Höhen, the slopes and trails are prepared for skiers, cross-country skiers and winter hikers and cross-country trails are groomed.
The Danielenhof is located in a small side valley that goes away from the Jostal. Your car navigation system will definitely only take you to number Bruckbach 24 or 23, so we recommend either taking exit A5 "Freiburg Mitte" and then following the B31a to Titisee-Neustadt - then turning into Jostal. There is then a "Bruckbach / Einsiedel" exit. Follow the Danielenhof direction Bruckbach along the small asphalt road, the second opportunity to turn right leads steeply straight to the farm.
If you come from St. Märgen / Thurner then you have to drive past the "Holzhäuslehof" (do not turn to Einsiedel) and come to the Dominikhof / sawmill, there is already a sign for "Danielenhof". Here you turn left and take the second option to turn off the road. Go left up the mountain and you will already see the Danielenhof. You've reached your destination!

§ 4 Withdrawal and non-use
1. Withdrawal from the accommodation contract must be made in writing.
2. In the event of withdrawal, the landlord is entitled to claim flat-rate compensation, unless another rental is possible.
The following conditions apply:
a) upon receipt of the withdrawal:
- up to 49 days before the start of the rental 10% of the rental amount
- up to 35 days before the start of the rental 30% of the rental amount
- up to 21 days before the start of the rental 60% of the rental amount
- up to 14 days before the start of the rental 90% of the rental amount
- otherwise (later than 14 days before the start of the rental) 100% of the rental amount
3-5 nights are also possible for an additional payment of € 250.00
