Located at the tri-border area of Germany, France and Luxembourg, Saarburg offers an interesting range of excursion possibilites.
Trier, the oldest city in Germany, with its "Roman monuments" (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), its cathedral and its Liebfrauenkirche gothic church is just 24 km away; Luxembourg and France are 15 and 20 km away, respectively.
