A unique holiday apartment in Looe/Cornwall. The maisonette is like a balcony above the sea that enjoys totally open views out over the town, the beach, the cliff-lined coast and the see.
Little beaches and cliffs can be reached right from the holiday home itself. Looe's main beach is very popular, safe and clean.
Our apartment provides enough room for 3 guests with 2 bedrooms and a multi-purpose room with a kitchen. It's ideal for couples or small families.
Comprehensive information (travel guides, etc.) is available in English and German. There's of course also TV, music, DVDs and books (English and German) in the apartment for your entertainment.
The apartment is centrally heated in the cooler months of the year with the help of a central heating. There are no additional costs, as they're paid by to the private owners.
Magnificent coasts and landscapes with lots of sports facilities. The holiday apartment is very practical and fully equipped with the latest fixtures and fittings. The owner is German and can be contacted any time (preferably by telephone).
Deep sea and coastal fishing from Looe. Tennis and boules near the apartment. Golf 4km.
Coastal hikes to the historic smugglers' cove at Polperro. Dramatic steep cliffs and a beach a few kilometres away.
Sailing in Fowey. Famous gardens and parks within a radius of 20km (e.g. the "Lost Gardens of Heligan" and the "Eden Project"), castles, palaces and manor houses.
Medieval Looe with its working harbour lies by the sea in the south of Cornwall. This means that almost all of the important places in Cornwall and Devon can easily be reached by car. Whether you're heading inland to Dartmoor, travelling to the best-known magnificent gardens and manor houses in the local area or journeying to the coastal path that runs around Cornwall.
The private car parking space is very important during the high season.
Cliff-lined coast and bathing beach - there's something for everyone! You'll be given information about the culture and nature and lots more besides by email in advance of your trip.
By ferry via Calais-Dover or Hoek van Holland-Harwich.
Flights: All London airports, sometimes Bristol and Newquay.
Cornwall is surrounded by the sea, so there are lots of well-known places to visit: from beaches to high cliffs, from moorland (Dartmoor) to quaint river valleys, from old pubs to ancient manor houses, from deep caves to old mine shafts.
There's a variety of special, signposted hiking and cycling routes on offer - you'll find the relevant travel guides ready and waiting for you in the apartment.
As we are German landlords, we try and cater to your tastes. We've hopefully achieved that goal with this maisonette apartment in a former Victorian hotel with 6 residential units.

My wife and I have been fans of Cornwall for nearly 50 years and - with some interruptions - have been in Cornwall several times each year. We used to have a house and a boat on the north coast. The effort and expense became too great at our age, however, so we are very happy to have found Westcliff.
