What happens after registration?

After registering, you can check out your personal homeowner area and start creating your advertisement. Once you are satisfied with your ad and you have paid the invoice, our team will check the information. We will then notify you via email that your advertisement is ready for publishing. The duration begins with the activation of your advertisement.

Will the ad be extended automatically after 12 months?

No, we do not extend advertisements automatically. Once the advertising period is expired, you will find an invoice in your personal homeowner area. That way, you can choose whether you want to work with us again.

Will I or my guests be charged additional fees?

No, we won't charge you or your guests additional fees. The annual fee is due at the beginning of the advertisement period, which means you will benefit from the flat rate for inquiries without extra costs. As a matter of principle, we do not charge vacationers any service or booking fees, so there are no costs involved.

Why do I only have to pay an annual fee but no booking commission?

We have consciously chosen commission-free advertising as this business model clearly offers more benefits for hosts than other models. It also allows hosts on Holiday-Apartments to contact potential guests directly and decide for themselves whether or not to accept a booking request. Furthermore, instead of transferring the rental income via Holiday-Apartments, your guest will pay you directly. If we would work on a commission basis, this kind of flexibility would be very restricted or lost entirely.

How much income can I generate by renting out my apartment?

As a homeowner on Holiday-Apartments, it is completely up to you, how much rental income you want to earn with your apartment or vacation home. You can enter different seasonal rates, surcharges, etc., into our price calculator and neither you nor your guests will incur additional costs.

How long does it take for my ad to be activated?

The duration of our activation process depends -among other things- on how much time you need to enter and submit all necessary information to your satisfaction. All important data have to be stored and the invoice needs to be paid before we can activate the advertisement.

What kind of booking types does Holiday-Apartments offer?

You can choose which type of inquiry you would like to receive. If you choose non-binding inquiries, you will receive inquiries that are equally non-binding for you and the vacationers. In case you opt for our 24-hour booking, you will receive inquiries that are binding for 24 hours. You still have the option to accept or reject the inquiry. Both versions allow you, the host, to control your bookings.

Will the rental payments be transferred via Holiday-Apartments?

No, we do not handle deposit and/or rental payments. The payment transaction between you and your guests is solely your responsibility.

Does Holiday-Apartments hand over the keys on my behalf?

Our focus is to provide the best possible marketing for your apartment or holiday home and to find the right guests for you. We do not interfere with the rental on site and can therefore not hand over the keys on your behalf. Nevertheless, we are happy to assist you with our know-how in all matters relating to holiday rental.
