Oostende (about 63.000 residents) has something for everyone. You'll find several sandy beaches, lots of attractions, Belle-Epoque architecture, museums, culture, magnificent dunes, a beautiful park in the city centre as well as an extensive green hinterland that invites you to hiking and cycling.
Holiday destination
The flat is located in a two-family-home in a quiet, nice residential area in Mariakerke Bad-Oostende. It is furnished in a cosy, homely style and only a 10-minute walk from the wide sandy beach. You will find all the comforts you are used to.
The immediate vicinity offers shops and banks as well as bus stop (it takes about 10 minutes to get to Oostende's centre by bus).
Getting there
Oostende is a port city with a glorious past and 5 beautiful sandy beaches: the Oosterstrand, the Kleine Strand and Große Strand, the Mariakerkestrand and the Raversijdestrand. After an unforgettable beach holiday, it is worth checking out the town with its numerous attractions: 1) the Historic Museum; 2) James Ensorhaus; 3) Prince Karl Memorial; 4) the Atlantikwall (a defensive line); 5) the Walraversijde Museum; 6) Fort Napoleon; 7) the Japanese Garden; 8) the sail training ship Mercator (now a museum); 9) Mu.ZEE Museum of Modern Art; 10) Museum of Fine Arts; 11) Amandine, the last trawler ship in Oostende; 12) the St. Peter church tower; 13) Church of St. Peter and St. Paul with the ceremonial tomb of Belgium's first king.

Die ruhige Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und liegt zentral. Kurze Wege zum Supermarkt, zum Bäcker und zum Strand. Ein Auto wird eigentlich gar nicht benötigt, da sehr gute Bus-und Straßenbahnanbindung.
