Classed as one of the best preserved conservation villages in Scotland, this little jewel sits right on the wall of the North Sea. There is only a footpath between the houses and the sea, every cottage owns it's own wheelbarrow to bring along the shopping or luggage.
It is very quiet, no traffic, you can only hear the sound of the waves and the seagulls crying. If you look out of the window you might think you are on a boat, the only difference is, that it doesn't rock... Often you can even watch dancing dolphins and resting seals.
You can enjoy plenty of nice walks (perhaps with your dog?), you can discover many interesting things, especially rare sea birds.
