In the winter there is guaranteed snow, ski areas in Bad Kleinkirchheim and the Turracher Höhe, ski school for kids, the Heidi meadow or the Falkert ski area with 70 km of cross-country trails offer something for everyone.
In the summer, these areas are perfect for hiking, cycling and motorcycle tours.
You can enjoy the unique landscape in the Nockberge biosphere park.
Spa, bathing, golf and shopping in the immediate vicinity. The bathing lakes Ossiachersee, MIllstättersee, Wörthersee and the thermal baths in Bad Kleinkirchheim round out the diverse holiday options.
Getting there
From Bad Kleinkirchheim to Patergassen/Turracher Höhe, to Wiedweg crossing, turn right on B95 toward Feldkirchen and after about 2 km turn left toward St. Margarethen.

Ich habe mit meiner Frau und meinem Hund hier zwei super erholsame Woche gehabt. Die Umgebung und Aussicht vom Haus ist top sowie die Umgebung. Wir sind viel und oft spazieren gegangen. Das Wetter war bis auf ein paar ausnahmen super. Das Haus hat alles was man braucht, genug Betten die Ausstattung ist gut und es fehlte nichts. Die Terrasse sowie der eingezäunte Garten sind hervorragend. Kurzum kann ich es nur empfehlen.

Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub in Kärnten.
Das Haus war leicht zu finden und in wunderschöner Lage. Ein herrlicher Blick ins Tal.
Das Haus war in perfektem Zustand und es war alles vorhanden, was man im Urlaub braucht.
Heizung haben wir nicht gebraucht, stattdessen haben wir jeden Abend den Kamin angehabt.
Sehr schön war auch die Terrasse auf der man abends grillen und einen gemütlichen Abend bei Sonnenuntergang verbringen konnte.
Über die komplett eingezäunte Terrasse hat sich auch unser Hund gefreut, der in diesem Haus willkommen war.
Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub und kommen gerne wieder!
