Cavalaire sur Mer is a famous resort for families. The promenade is stretching along the Mediterrian Sea, here is a marina and many restaurants, bars, disco's/nightsclubs. Stores and shops are all within 7 mins walking distance. In a surrounding of 30 km you'll find several golfing courses.
Visit the most famous beaches: La Croix Valmer, Ramatuelle, Pampelonnes, Rayol/Canadel, Le Lavandou, Cavaliere, Ste. Maxime.
Day trips to: Nizza, Cannes, Monaco.
Getting there
Of course there are several ways to travel to Cavalaire sur Mer. Travelling by plane is actually fairly cheap taking the high petrol prices and into consideration. There are endless car rental companies available at the airport.
Travel by plane: Transavia flies directly to Nice Airport or Toulon/Hyeres. Toulon/ Hyeres airport is only open during mid- and high season though.
Travel by car via Frankfurt - Karlsruhe - Mulhouse- Baune - Lyon - Valence - AIx-en-Provence - Le Luc - Grimaud - Gassin - Cavalaire sur mer.
Travel by train: The super fast TGV goes to Toulon or Fréjus.
Then you could simply hop on a bus - Varlib. Check itineraries on their website http://www.varlib.fr

Zu zweit großzügig und bestens ausgestattet - die Anlage ist schon etwas älter, Badezimmer ist neu und modern. Unschlagbar ist die Lage - ruhig gelegen, man kann gut zu Fuss in den Ort und die langen Sandstrände laufen. Herrlich ist die quasi private Bucht-Calanque nur wenige Schritte vom Haus (steile Stufen) entfernt! Die Küste ist wunderschön und Hyeres, St. Tropez und Umgebung sind schnell erreichbar. Man kann wandern, radfahren oder am Meer relaxen - herrlich!Wir waren in der Nachsaison und haben hier 2 wunderschöne Wochen verbracht! Cavalaire ist ein lebendiger Ort mit zahlreichen Geschäften und Restaurants, schönen Strandbars - Ende September wird es ruhiger und einige Restaurants und Bars schließen .Daphne hat uns gut betreut- danke dafür!

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche mit unserem Hund in Cavalaire. Die Lage ist sehr gut, man ist in 8 min. am Hafen und die Calanque ist unschlagbar. Nur zu erreichen über eine steile Treppe aber dann ist man am schönsten Ort von Cavalaire. Zum Baden ideal. Das Haus ist sehr gut eingerichtet, es gibt alles, was man braucht. Wir hatten uns für die Betten auf der Empore entschieden, diese sind vielleicht etwas schmal und etwas härter. Rundum ein gelungener Urlaub, nur das selber Reinigen vor der Abfahrt schmälert das Urlaubsfeeling etwas. Wir würden aber immer wieder dieses Haus buchen!
