Holiday destination
The beautiful beaches have very few people on them, even in summer, but there is plenty to visit if you don't want to just sunbathe.
The local towns of Portbail, La Haye du Puits and Barneville-Carteret have a good selection of shops and restaurants and a weekly market (Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday).
Further afield, the Mont St. Michel, Bayeux and Cherbourg are all interesting, and day trips to Jersey, Guernsey or the Iles de Chaussey are easy to arrange.
Getting there
From Caen take the N13 until you pass Carentan, then take the sign for Barneville Carteret and head towards La Haye du Puits (D903). From La Haye du Puits take the D136 through Bretteville Bourg until you reach the main coastal road (D650).Cross the main road and take the last road on the right, the house is 200m on the left.

Die Unterkunft ist genau, wie beschrieben. Direkt am Meer mit traumhaftem Blick. Unser Hund fühlte sich wie im 7.ten Himmel. Kleiner Tipp zum beachten: die Bettwäsche muss in Übergröße mitgebracht werden.
