Directly Surrounded by the Oberlausitz on the conservation area Moravian Highlands, 13 km before Located at the border triangle of Germany / Poland / Czech Republic town of Zittau, the cottage is an ideal starting point for various excursions.
Are possible excursions on foot or by bike in the vicinity. You can explore the center of Herrnhut, the city of poinsettias and the seat of the Moravian Brethren, a very nice walk through the protected landscape area Moravian highlands easily reached on foot in 15 minutes. But even more extensive walks to Denkmalort Obercunnersdorf (about 6 km) or to Berthelsdorfer Castle (3 km), the Spree sources on Kottmar, the Oderwitz Spitzberg, the Löbauer Berg, the Rotstein are possible.
In about 15 km you reach the Zittau Mountains with its beautiful sandstone formations and 25km Bohemian Switzerland.
The historic towns of Zittau, Löbau, Görlitz and Bautzen can be reached by car in 20 - 40 min. The Baroque city of Dresden can be reached in about 1 hour by car.
The lying within sight of Jizera and Giant Mountains are for day trips in 1.5-2 hours to reach and also a good opportunity to go hiking in the high mountains.

Wir waren das zweite Mal an Silvester hier und hatten beide Ferienwohnungen gebucht, da wir 4 Pärchen sind. Auch dieses Mal war alles unkompliziert und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Einziges Problem war die durchgelegene Matratze im OG. Aber die nächsten Gäste sollten damit kein Problem mehr haben, da sich darum gekümmert wird. Ansonsten hatten wir keine Beanstandungen. Da wir voriges Jahr die nähere Umgebung erkundet haben, sind wir diesmal nach Löbau gefahren und waren dort wandern.

Eine absolut empfehlenswerte Unterkunft. Unkomplizierte und sehr Kommunikation. Es war absolut kein Problem das unsere drei Hunde mitkommen durften. Bietet sich vom Gelände her auch sehr gut an.
Die Einrichtung ist toll, es ist alles das was man benötigt und sehr sauber.
Alles in allem eine tolle Unterkunft mit super netten Vermieter.
Wir kommen gern wieder.
