Holiday destination
Malcesine is located on the northern side of the Riviera degli Ulivi, nestled between olive groves and Monte Baldo. The ancient village with its castle is built around a steep rock, even mentioned by Goethe. A modern cable car takes you to Tratto Spino (1790 mt) in just a few minutes. There are opportunities for sports activities (sailing, windsurfing, kiting, trekking, mountain biking, paragliding). From here, you can visit Verona, Venice, Padua, etc. Nearby, there are parks (Gardaland, Canevaworld, Botanical Gardens).
Getting there
We have found that sometimes the GPS can misguide guests upon arrival to reach us.
Before reaching the town of Malcesine, the GPS directs guests up a side road on the mountain (also known as Panoramastrasse) to house number 200, etc.
To get to us via a simpler route, drive to the center of Malcesine, pass the Eurospar supermarket and the church, then you will find the Hotel Ideal on the left, where you should turn left into Strada Panoramica. After 500 meters, you will see the sign for Villa Stellina, house number 35, on the left.

Es war während unseres Urlaubs sehr heiß. Die Wohnung befindet sich direkt unter dem Dach, sodass sie sich ziemlich aufheizte, was auch nachts unangenehm war. Es gab keine Klimaanlage. Die Einrichtung war für den niedrigen Preis angemessen. Das Interieur ist Geschmackssache. Es war etwas veraltet und könnte eine Modernisierung vertragen. Die Eigentümer waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein weiterer erwähnenswerter Punkt ist der atemberaubende Blick auf den See. Besser könnte es nicht sein. Wir saßen jeden Tag auf dem Balkon, vom Frühstück am Morgen bis abends nach unseren Ausflügen, und genossen die herrliche Aussicht.
Das Internet scheint in der gesamten Stadt schlecht zu sein. Wie bei vielen anderen Ferienwohnungen in Malcesine ist das WLAN äußerst schwach. Vielleicht liegt das an der allgemeinen Netzabdeckung. Aber das ist nebensächlich. Kaum bis gar kein Internet ist auch eine Art Urlaub.
Oh ja, es gibt auch einen Gemeinschaftspool. Es ist ein wenig mühsam, dorthin zu gelangen. Wir konnten jedoch aufgrund der ständigen Mückeninvasionen nicht viel Zeit dort verbringen. Der Pool befindet sich mitten in einem Olivenhain, was eine schöne Atmosphäre schafft.

Mega Aussicht, Giovanna ist eine richtig herzliche und freundliche Person, alles da was man benötig und nicht weit vom Gardasee. Wir waren jeden Abend im Pool auch von dort ist die Aussicht einfach klasse. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.
