Crestet- Vaison-la-Romaine High above the rolling hills you'll find the medieval fortress town of Crestet. From "La Fontaine de Charambaud" you'll be at the fortress in 20 minutes on foot where you have a panoramic view of the Ouvèze valley and Mont Ventoux. Crestet is also the starting point of hiking or VTT cycing tours into "Les Dentelles de Montmirail", a mountain chain known for its vertical cliffs.

Wir sind gerade aus Marseille angekommen und sind auf dem Weg nach Vaison an diesem Ort vorbeigekommen. Dort hing ein Schild, das besagte, dass das Restaurant voll und keine PlÃ¤tze mehr verfÃ¼gbar seien. Dennoch sind wir einfach hineingegangen und haben nachgefragt, obwohl wir kaum FranzÃ¶sisch verstanden. Die Kellner waren sehr freundlich und gaben uns einen der letzten freien Tische. Wir bestellten die Schnecken, Rindertatar und eine Pizza, und alles war kÃ¶stlich. Es ist offensichtlich, dass das Restaurant sehr belebt war und eine geschÃ¤ftige AtmosphÃ¤re von Familien, Freunden und Paaren selbst um 21 Uhr herrschte.

Die Fischsuppe war ausgezeichnet. Der Pizzateig war meiner Frau und mir zu trocken, und meine Frau fand, dass ihrer Pizza etwas an WÃ¼rze fehlte, wÃ¤hrend ich mit meinem provenzalischen Belag und der WÃ¼rze zufrieden war. Die Portionen waren groÃŸzÃ¼gig. Gute Hausweinoptionen zu angemessenen Preisen. Zufrieden mit dem Service. Die Schwester meiner Frau war im Allgemeinen mit ihrem Pastagericht zufrieden, obwohl sie der Meinung war, dass mehr Sauce hÃ¤tte sein kÃ¶nnen. WÃ¼rde ich zurÃ¼ckkehren? Als Pescetarier, der kein Fleisch isst, nein. Nicht der richtige Ort fÃ¼r einen besonderen Anlass. Aber ich denke, es ist ein schÃ¶nes Familienrestaurant.
