Cancellation by the Tenant
You may cancel the contract at any time. Cancellation must be in writing.
In the event of cancellation, you are liable for the following cancellation fees:
* From the date of booking confirmation by the landlord up to 30 days before the start of the rental period: free cancellation.
* From 29 to 15 days before the start of the rental period: 50% cancellation fee of the total price.
* From 14 to 8 days before the start of the rental period: 80% of the total price.
For cancellations less than eight days before the start of the rental period, the full rental price is payable. The date of receipt of your cancellation notice is decisive. Any payments already made will be credited. You may nominate a substitute tenant who will assume your contract under the aforementioned conditions. Written notification is sufficient.

The town center is characterized by historic half-timbered houses, narrow lanes, and the market square with its cafés and balustrades. To the south, the volcanic town of the same name will soon rise into the landscape, and the Laacher See Volcanic Park is not far away.
