Holiday destination
The village of Canville La Roque is in the national parc des marais du contentin, a protected conservation area. The countryside is unchanged and undeveloped, most of the land is farmed and the fields often contain cows and horses. The coastline is beautiful and also unspoiled, even in summer the beaches are uncrowded and shelve gently for safe swimming. There are a good selection of shops and restaurants in Portbail, and plenty to see and visit (castles, gardens and many sporting activities)

Das Haus ist wirklich klasse. Es ist sehr groß und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht und sich nur vorstellen kann. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt.
Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub.
Es liegt ganz ruhig in den Feldern. Und trotzdem ist man 10 min mit dem Auto im Ort mit allen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und am Strand.
Mit unseren beiden Hunden war es auch ideal, da der Garten komplett umschlossen ist.
Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Das Team ist völlig engagiert bei der Renovierung, mit bemerkenswerter Arbeit. Bravo an die Vereinigung: Sie sind verdiente Menschen, wir brauchen mehr von ihnen, um unser Erbe wiederherzustellen und zu bewahren."

Und während des Besuchs lernt man ein wenig über die Geschichte der Region und des Ortes, das ist wirklich cool. Es ist ein bisschen schade, dass das Herrenhaus in der Vergangenheit verlassen wurde, aber die aktuellen Eigentümer haben damit nichts zu tun. Auf jeden Fall führen sie schöne Restaurierungen durch, sie machen wirklich gute Arbeit. Ich denke, dass es in ein paar Jahren ein außergewöhnlicher und charmanter Ort werden wird, an dem wir noch mehr über die lokale Geschichte lernen können. Und außerdem gibt es ein Gîte, falls man dort übernachten möchte, das ist wirklich schön!
