Holiday destination
This spacious holiday home is nestled in one-of-a-kind nature only 2 km from the Kiel Canal and a few kilometres from Schleswig-Holstein's largest river, the Eider. Anglers and cyclists can pursue their hobby on the Kiel Canal - the Kiel Canal is the busiest artificial waterway in the world.
In the nearby wooded area, "Dithmarschen's Switzerland", there are many excellent hiking trails. You can forget your everyday stress on a carriage ride through the Offenbüttler Moor.
Getting there
From Hamburg on the A23 to the Albersdorf exit. Then left towards Albersdorf. In Albersdorf, take the 2nd exit (towards Tellingstedt) at the roundabout. After leaving Albersdorf, take the next possible street on the right towards Bunsoh/Offenbüttel. Drive through Bunsoh. In Offenbüttel turn left at the fire station onto the main street. After about 300m you'll find the holiday home on the left. We are looking forward to your visit.

Host informationMy name is Anke Volkmann, the owner of this apartment. I would love to welcome lots of guests who can feel comfortable in the apartment and recover from everyday stress. It's so nice on the terrace in summer and in front of the stove in winter. At any time of year, however, the Kiel Canal with its ships changes up everyday life. I would be happy to welcome you here as guests.

Wir sind mit unseren Eltern und Kindern (6 Personen) sowie mit unseren beiden Hunden angereist. Die Ferienwohnung ist super eingerichtet und war auch toll weihnachtlich geschmückt! Wir haben uns alle wohl gefühlt. Die Hunde konnte dank vorhandener Einzäunung im Garten frei rumtoben.
Zur Begrüßung gab es einen super leckeren Kuchen. Für den Silvesterabend wurden wir mit einer Flasche Sekt zum Anstoßen beglückt. Ein wirklich toller Service!
In Offenbüttel wie auch am 2km entfernten Nord-Ostsee-Kanal konnten wir gut mit den Hunden spazieren gehen.
Zum Einkaufen waren wir im 6km entfernten Albersdorf.
Generell ist die Landschaft einfach nur traumhaft!
Ein wirklich rundum gelungener Urlaub! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir, meine Lebensgefährtin, ihr Hund und ich waren vom 21.12.23 bis 01.01.24 im Ferienhaus von Frau Volkmann zu Gast._x000D_
Das gesamte Haus war sehr gut ausgestattet und mit großer Mühe aufwändig und liebevoll weihnachtlich hergerichtet. Ein Pelletofen zum gemütlichen Einheizen war vorhanden und als die Pellets zur Neige gingen hat Frau Volkmann umgehend für reichlichen Nachschub gesorgt._x000D_
Die Austattung hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Einziger Wermutstropfen für uns war die Tatsache, dass die Treppe zu den oberen Zimmern sehr steil war und somit für unseren alten und großen Hund nicht zu bewältigen war. Für ältere Menschen auch problematisch. Deshalb waren wir auf ein kleines Zimmer im Erdgeschoss beschränkt, das zwar ein sehr bequemes Bett aufwies, aber doch relativ klein war und sehr wenig Schlafplatz für unseren Hund geboten hat._x000D_
Insgesamt jedoch uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert, da der große Garten rundum eingezäunt ist und Hundebesitzer sich keine Gedanken um den Verbleib ihres Tieres machen müssen._x000D_
Wir bedanken uns bei Frau Volkmann für den schönen Aufenthalt (und nicht zuletzt auch die schöne Flasche Wein, die sie uns zu Silvester geschenkt hat)!
