We have resumed the various possibilities of leisure time activities under the chapter "Environment".
Holiday destination
The environment offers lots of possibilities for spending your leisure time. Directly in front of the door you will find many bicycle tracks and long paths for hiking.
For dog owners it will be good that there are special dog beach area in Otterndorf (20km) and Cuxhaven (30 km). In Cuxhave there are a lot of activities for the whole family. You will find a long beautiful sand beach and long well build promenades, a fun swimming resort with artifial waves, slide, a spa and thermal water. And what about a nice trp to the seal banks near Cuxhaven, to the island Helgoland? Or a hiking tour through the Wadden Sea and spending a night in a hay hotel on the island Neuwerk?
There is a leisure and adventure park in Wingst (about 20 km away) with a zoo, a game area and a summer toboggan run. Fun for all members of jhe family !! In balje itself you will find the "Natureum", a nature museum with all local animals and plants. in the east of Balje there are nice little harbour towns like Stade, the beach of Krautsand and the tradional folcloristic apple and cherry blossom festivals. Spend holidays in an exclusive area :), to where probably very few friends of you have been to.

Altes Haus, es ist nicht alles perfekt, aber charmant. Die Kinder haben sich total über die Hüpfburg gefreut! Es ist toll ein Haus zu haben, in dem man mit 12 Leuten zusammen sitzen kann. Oben im Haus hat man eine schöne Aussicht über den Deich.
Die Gegend ist sehr schön.

Sie haben Recht, es ist noch nicht alles perfekt, aber wir arbeiten permanent daran, um uns zu verbessern. Nach dem neuen Bad und den komplett neu gestalteten Grillplatz stehen in naher Zukunft eine neue zweite Küche und ein paar andere Renovierungen, um den Komfort zu steigern

Die Lage ist ruhig und schön. Von den oberen Zimmern hat mein einen schönen Ausblick und kann hinter dem Deich weite Wiesen mit Kühen betrachten. In der Entfernung lässt sich ein Hafen sehen der bei Nacht leuchtet. Es führt ein schöner langer (ca. 1h) Spazierweg Richtung Elbe. Mit der Ausnahme von Bettwäsche und Handtüchern findet man Haus alles was man braucht. Beachtlich ist das vorhandene Platz Angebot und der Kamin spendet Abends eine angenehme Wärme. Den meisten von uns haben die Betten gut gefallen und empfanden diese als sehr bequem. Teile des Hauses sind renoviert. Leider hatten wir das Problem, dass die Spülmaschine in der unteren Küche das Geschirr nicht richtig reinigen konnte und nach jedem Gang nachgespült werden musste. Betreut wird dieses Haus von einer super netten Haushälterin.

Haben Sie vielen Dank für Ihre freundliche Bewertung. Es freut uns, dass Sie einen schönen Urlaub gehabt haben. Im Haus wird jeden Herbst etwas renoviert, zuletzt die Fassade und neue Rundbogenfenster. Auch die etwas ältere Küche im 1 OG wird in der nächsten Zeit in Angriff genommen. Es tut uns leid, dass Sie Probleme mit dem Geschirrspüler hatten, er wird noch in dieser Woche repariert.
