Holiday destination
The small and original spa town of Zierow is a few minutes' walk away. Zierow is best known among riders for its horse farm. Events are held there regularly. Riding lessons are available for a fee.
The beautiful Hanseatic city of Wismar is only 3 km away and can therefore be reached in a few minutes by car or by bike via the Baltic Sea cycle path.
A large supermarket as well as a bakery, chemist, electronics store, decoration shop, sports shop, etc. are located about 3 km from the house in Wismar-Hinter-Wenddorf and in the neighbouring town of Gägelow.
In Zierow itself there is a small café shop with baked goods, coffee and cake, fresh eggs, works of art, magazines and other things that you may need in life.
The "white Wiek" (Wohlenberger Wiek) can be reached in about 10 minutes by car, Boltenhagen is about 25 minutes by car and the island of Poel with its dream beaches is also about 30 minutes by car. Schwerin and Rostock can also be reached in about 35-45 minutes via country road or motorway.
In the surrounding area there are other excursion destinations such as the small town of Neukloster, Bothmer Castle, Schwerin Castle, the medieval courtyard in Bäbelin, the Kirchdorf Sternwall complex, the Langenwerder bird sanctuary island, Tüzen pet park, the Stone Age village of Kussow, the megalithic tombs in the Eberstorfer forest, the Poeler Piratenland indoor playground and much more.
In just 500 m you can reach the natural beach directly via a path through the field; nudist bathing is also allowed there. In a couple 100 m away there is a well-kept bathing beach with a large playground for children. There is also a mini golf course, a small café and a kiosk with delicious waffles. Since the Eggers Wiek is still relatively flat in the area near the beach, it's also safe for smaller children to go swimming.
Getting there
From the West: via the A20 exit for Bobitz, then towards Gägelow, from there to Zierow.
From the east: via the A20 exit for Wismar, bypass towards Gägelow/Zierow.
Shortly before Zierow, behind the large cowsheds, turn right for Fliemstorf, then left to Zierow; after Fliemstorf turn right towards the thatched roof houses of De Poeler Drift -> house number 53a

Wir wissen nicht, wo wir anfangen sollen, weil einfach alles so schön war! Wir haben noch nie eine so gut ausgestattete Küche gesehen (selbst zuhause sind wir nicht so gut ausgestattet), alles so funktional und schön! Die Esszimmerstühle super bequem, die Betten super bequem, es fehlte an nichts. Im Bad gibt es reichlich Ablagemöglichkeiten und Haken, was wir sonst immer in anderen Häusern als unzureichend empfinden. Auch die Siebteägermaschine mit Mühle hat uns besonders gefallen. Danke auch für die Bücherauswahl, wir konnten einiges davon lesen! Vom Garten träumen wir heute noch. Je nach Sonne und Wind konnten wir rund ums Haus draußen sitzen, die vielen Blumen und Wildbienen haben uns viel Freude bereitet. Wir bedauern, dass wir nur eine Woche buchen konnten, kommen aber nächstes Jahr wieder!

Ein wirklich persönlich und sehr vollständig (!) eingerichtet Haus mit allem Komfort. Gute, sehr ruhige, naturnahe Lage mit Blick über Felder auf das Meer. Ideal für Besichtigungen und Strandbesuch. Einfach perfekt. Danke
