The Blaue Haus is the so-called life estate of a closed farmstead with cosy corners under wine arbours, large trees, meadows and a fruit orchard.
The holiday home with approx. 2800 m² large property faces due south and is located on a very quiet residential street.
Due to the historic banisters, the house is not suitable for handicapped individuals.
Das Blaue Haus (the blue house) is located in a picturesque, small valley on the outskirts of a small village with 50 residents. Our Aurachtal was renaturalised - see a stream and small lakes from the breakfast table - sheep, 12 water buffalo and 11 Caucasian wild horses- koniks - that graze quietly on the dams.
A cycling path leads past our farmyard to a small bathing lake.
Bamberg - a World Heritage Site - is approx. 10 km away. Fortresses, castles and churches are located nearby. For hiking the Steigerwald offers the most beautiful trails in marvellous forests, with 300 year old beeches in the state forest of Ebrach. Vineyards in the Main Valley with cosy wine bars invite you to linger.
