Host's notes
Cancellation policy
Your reservation is binding. Once we confirm your reservation and you pay 30% of the booking charges as a deposit, the booking is binding for all fellow travellers. In case of a cancellation up to the 29th day prior to arrival you are charged 50% of the total amount. From the 28th day prior to arrival you are charged 100% of the booking costs.
We highly recommend taking out a travel cancellation insurance!
If you're able to find a replacement tenant or if we can rent the house at short notice, we'll refund the rental price minus a handling fee of 50,- €.

On the Hamme, you can take a ride on a peat barge, rides with the "Moorexpress" (on weekends between May and October), canoeing and tours on an excursion boat, visiting the all-weather pool in Osterholz-Scharmbeck (closed until mid-July due to renovations), several golf courses are within easy reach, including the well-known Club zur Vahr in Garlstedt, and lots more! Holiday destination
Its location makes the property an ideal starting point for numerous excursions (on foot or by bicycle) to the famous Teufelsmoor. One way to reach the artists' village Worpswede is cycling through the Hamme lowlands (distance approx. 12 km). The net of cycling paths "Grüner Ring - Marsch, Moor and Geest" and the bike path "Weites Land" run close to the holiday home, so does the Butenpad in Osterholz-Scharmbeck. The North Sea coast and Hanseatic city of Bremen can be reached by car in about 30 minutes.
Getting there
By car:
◾Motorway A27 towards Bremerhaven
◾Exit Bremen-Industriehäfen (industrial ports), right lane, towards Worpswede/Osterholz-Scharmbeck
◾follow the road for about 8 km
◾Turn left towards Osterholz-Scharmbeck (K9)
◾Follow the road
(after about 2 km you'll see and cross the Hamme, a headstream)
◾Once in Osterholz-Scharmbeck, turn right onto Bördestraße
◾Follow the road, turn right at the car dealership and onto Muskaustraße
◾To your right you'll see the barn, the the holiday home with the street number 6.

By train:
◾At Bremen's central station, trains to Osterholz-Scharmbeck depart every hour. The ride takes 15 minutes.
◾The holiday home is about 1.8 km (footpath) from the train station.

Wir haben uns mit sieben Personen über die Silvestertage in diesem schönen Haus sehr gefühlt. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Der aufgestellte Weihnachtsbaum ließ den Aufenthalt noch gemütlicher werden. Ein dealer Standort für abwechslungsreiche Ausflüge in der Umgebung.
Wir kommen gern im.Sommer nochmal wieder.

Wir waren mit 5 Freundinnen im Haus. Im Garten hat man einen unverbauten Blick auf die Wiesen und Weiden bis zum Horizont. Haus und Garten sind super, hochwertig und mit viel Liebe zum Detail und zur Geschichte des Hauses ausgestattet. In der Nähe gibt es schöne Wanderwege und romantisch gelegene Gaststätten. Für Kunstfreunde ruft Worpswede, für Naturfreunde das Teufelsmoor. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war wirklich super. Wir kommen wieder!
