Gemlenz is a small hamlet with 3 residential homes and surrounded by forests, meadows and fields, 450m above sea level (NHN) and about 7 km north-west of Kulmbach (see the labelled aerial photo). Due to its location at the foot of the Franconian Forest, Franconian Switzerland and the Fichtel Mountains are just a short drive away. Weather permitting, you'll be able to see the two highest mountains, the Fichtelberg (1051m) and the Ochsenkopf (1024m).

Wer wirklich Ruhe sucht, der findet sie hier. Etwas abgelegen aber Kulmbach ist gut zu erreichen. Umgebung ist einfach herrlich. Kurzer Weg zum Wald und Rehgehege. Pferde, Vögel sonst ist nicht viel zu hören. Unsere Schäferhündin war voll und ganz zufrieden. Haus ist eher rustikal, muss man mit klar kommen. Wünsche werden unaufgeregt erledigt. Aufgeschlossene Gespräche, sehr nette Vermieter. Alles in allem kommt man hier gut zurecht. Uns hat einfach die Ruhe sehr sehr gut getan. Liebe Grüße Fam. Leffke
