You can book different hiking trips or go fishisng at the Hardausee which is a 10 min drive to get there. it's also got a little beach area for those who wanna have a dip in the water.
Holiday destination
The Lüneburger Heide is well known for its great possibilities for hiking and cycling. A stay in that area is not only worth a trip in summer, but also in autumn, when the whole Heide is in bloom. Worth seeing are the nearby cities Celle and Lüneburg, with its old and neat half-timbered houses.
Fun to visit, especially with kids, are the Heidpark, the Serengetipark and a variety of museums. Lots to do, come and try it yourself.

You can get here by car or by taking the train. If you need a shuttle from the trainstation the owners will surely pick you up.
