The skiing pass for the entire Oberstaufener skiing region is for free! A multitude of sport possibilities: 250km of hiking trails, 89km Nordic-Walking-tracks, 3 golf courses, 80km of ski-runs, more than 300km of cross-country ski-tracks, and many, many more.
Holiday destination
The apartment is situated on the outskirts of the holiday paradise Oberstaufen. There are plenty of hiking and cycling paths and cross-country ski-tracks, that start in front of our house. In the immediate proximity you also find spa gardens, lots of shopping possibilities, sport facilities, adventure pools, restaurants, bars only a few minute walk away. The ice pavilion is also gratis for you and Oberstaufen further offers tennis courts and golf courses.
Getting there
The climatic spa Oberstaufen is situated at the border triangle of Germany, Austria and Switzerland, at the foot of the Alps and very close to Lake Constance. By car: A7 (Ulm-Füssen) till Autobahn interchange Allgaeu A 980 towards Lindau, exit Waltenhofen B12, towards Seltmans, from there follow the signs to Oberstaufen. By train: ICE to Kempten and from there with regional train to Oberstaufen.

Sehr gut ausgestattet, viele elektronische Extra's (die wir nicht gebraucht/genutzt haben). Sehr sauber und durch die Randlage sehr ruhig. Trotzdem relativ zentral. Die Schlüsselübergabe war durch den Schlüsselsafe problemlos. Der telefonische Kontakt im Vorfeld auch sehr freundlich. Mit den vielen Informationen, der vorbildlich ausgestatteten Wohnung und der wunderschönen Lage, wird es sehr schwer etwas zu verbessern. Ihr Raumkonzept ist sehr gut. An der Umgebung KANN UND MUSS man nichts ändern. Wir sind zum Wandern gekommen, für uns Hundehalter ist die Umgebung genau richtig. In allen Bergbahnen konnten wir die Hunde ohne Auflagen mitnehmen. Viele gute Restaurants in der Umgebung, hervorheben kann man da das Thalkirchdorfer Dorfhaus.

Die Ferienwohnung hat alles was man braucht. Für uns von Vorteil waren die beiden Fernsehgeräte, da mein Mann gerne Sportsendungen sieht und selten hatten wir so gute Betten. Verstellbar und man liegt sehr gut. Keine Kreuzschmerzen! Für die Gassi-Runde mit dem Hund hat man es nicht weit. Überhaupt liegt die Wohnung ruhig und dennoch nicht weit vom Zentrum entfernt. Die Betreuung und Informationen waren sehr gut und umfangreich. Es ist eine sehr schöne Gegend mit vielen Möglichkeiten Wir haben gerne die Bergbahnen benutzt, die div. Einkehrmöglichkeiten, die gute Buttermilch, Kaiserschmarrn, Brotzeit, Germknödel, Haxen usw., die Buchenegger Wasserfälle, der Alpsee, Kempten, Immenstadt, Oberstdorf, den Berggasthof Paradies, das beste Eis in der Manufaktur. Für Kinder ist es auch im Kurpark sehr schön.
