The paths leading from the house invite you to go on long hikes or demanding mountain tours, the golf course is only 3 kilometers away, the local forest swimming pool with heated pools and extensive sunbathing areas is ideal for bathing enthusiasts, there is a lot on offer for culture lovers, e.g. e.g.: Richard Strauss Days, Garmisch Summer of Culture, Farchanter Farmers' Stage and much more, museum fans will also get their money's worth - local history museum, Linderhof Castle and Neuschwanstein, open-air museum - Glenleiten etc. The local clubs also host various events.
Holiday destination
The area is a paradise for hikers and mountain bikers. Hiking trails are right outside the front door.
In the immediate vicinity there is a ski lift, toboggan run and cross-country ski trail. The heated outdoor swimming pool with beautiful sunbathing areas is just 10-minute walk away. It's only 800 metres to the train station and bus stop, from where you can easily reach Garmisch - Partenkirchen or Munich. Shops for daily needs can be reached in a few minutes.

Wanderung auf den Wank & zu den Kuhfluchtwasserfällen beginnen quasi an der Haustür. Wunderschöner Blick auf die Zugspitze. Pizzeria da Nico im Haus: superfreundlich & sehr lecker!
Alles sauber. Kommunikation unkompliziert, wenn auch auf das Nötigste beschränkt.
Schön: Kaffeefilter, 2 Rollen Klopapier, 2 Spülmaschinentabs, 1 Spülschwamm, 1 Küchenhandtuch & etw. Spülmittel vor Ort.
Leider wenig Stauraum/Ablagemöglichkeiten, bei 40 qm aber verständlich.
Bäcker haben in Farchant sonntags zu, aber an der Tankstelle oder beim Bäcker im nächsten Ort wird man fündig. Im Ort ein Dorfladen fußläufig und ein Edeka mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Pizzeria Vesuvio mit Sitzplätzen direkt an der Loisach. Mega Spielplatz, auch mit Wasserelementen, gleich um die Ecke!
Für uns war's ein toller Urlaub!
