Zartwitzer Hütte is perfect for nature lovers. Tours on foot, by bike or canoe are possible from here. You can sail and surf on the Müritz. The Müritzeum in Waren is definitely worth a visit. The treetop path in Ivenack is my personal favourite.
Holiday destination
The town of Zartwitzer Hütte is located between Waren (Müritz) and Neustrelitz. There is a bus line to Waren in summer: the national park bus. The Müritz is 4 kilometres away and easy to reach via the bike paths. You can bathe and swim in Pagelsee, 15 minutes by bike from us. Many animal and bird species can be seen right from your doorstep; eagles and cranes stop by for a visit. In Granzin you can't forget the Havelkrug: home-made pizzas from the stone oven are a gourmet tip.

Bruder, ich sage dir ehrlich, es ist eine Hütte, in der man einfach bleiben und sich entspannen kann. Gott weiß, wo im Wald man Zimmer usw. sauber bekommen kann. Wir sind fast verhungert, weil es keinen Laden in der Nähe gab und Harald (der Besitzer) zu geizig war, um mit den Preisen zu verhandeln. Wir haben so ein Schaf bekommen und das hat für eine Woche gereicht. Wir mussten es immer grillen, aber ansonsten war die Hütte stabil. 9/12
