The holiday home is located about 500 m from the sea (sandy beach). From a cul-de-sac you take a road with separate footpath through a holly oak forest which ends at the sandy beach. The Fort de Bregancon lies on a peninsula of the bay, and is the summer home of the French presidents - so no one can build around it.

Wir waren zu zweit mit Auto, Anhänger und Motorrädern in Cabasson und wir waren begeistert: Vom riesigen Platz, den das Ferienhaus bietet, von der Ausstattung, die locker für eine 4-5-köpfige Familie ausreicht. Ein 70er Jahre Haus, das keine hochgestylte Nobel-Hütte ist, aber ganz viel Charme hat und alles was man braucht. Im kleinen Ort abseits des Touristmus-Trubels und mit Fußweg zum idyllischen Strand ist es ein wunderbarer Ort, um zu Chillen und Ausflüge zu machen, in das umliegende Gebirge ebenso wie die Küste entlang und mit dem Boot auf die vorgelagerte Insel. Begeistert hat uns vor allem die Gastfreundschaft von Angelika, Richards Frau! Sie wohnt gleich nebenan und war super hilfsbereit bei allen Fragen. Chapeau! wie man in Frankreich sagt :-). An dieser Stelle nochmal vielen vielen Dank!

Die Lage des Hauses in Cabasson ist perfekt. Keine überfüllten Strände, keine überfüllten Straßen (wir konnten die Kinder (9 und 13 Jahre) auch mal alleine losziehen lassen), und trotzdem sind alle "Geschäfte des täglichen Bedarfs" schnell erreichbar. Das Haus ist für vier Personen mehr als ausreichend groß, der Garten ist riesig und auch am Abreisetag haben wir noch Pflanzen entdeckt, die wir in den zwei Wochen davor nicht gesehen hatten... Im Haus ist alles vorhanden, was man im Urlaub benötigt. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Übergabe bei An- und Abreise lief problemlos, zeitlich haben sie sich nach uns gerichtet, und die bereits mehrmals beschriebene Flasche Wein stand auch im Kühlschrank, und für die Kinder Softgetränke. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen!
