In summer, Leogang is a hiking paradise for everyone. From our house you have direct access to numerous well signposted hiking trails through the beautiful mountains. The bike park Leogang - the largest bike mecca in the Alps - is only a few pedal turns away.
Getting there
Coming from Munich, we recommend you take the motorway exit Kufstein-Süd and then continue driving through Ellmau - St. Johann in Tirol - Fieberbrunn - Hochfilzen until Leogang. Cross the „Griessen“ pass and follow the road for another 2 kilometres. Look out for the Leoganger Bergbahnen (Asitz cable car) on the right side and take the first turn right, across the small bridge across the creek. Turn left right behind the bridge and you will find our hotel after 50 metres to your right hand side.
Coming from Salzburg, there are two possibilities to reach us:
The fastest way is via the „kleine deutsche Eck“ through Bad Reichenhall – Lofer – Saalfelden – Leogang. Alteratively you can take the Autobahn A10 towards Bischofshofen. Keep driving in the direction of Zell am See – Saalfelden – Leogang. Pass through the town center of Leogang and keep driving for about 3 km until you reach the Leoganger Bergbahnen (Asitz cable car). There, take the second driveway on the left and pass the bridge, then turn left again and you will find our hotel after 50 metres to your right hand side.

Das Rivus ist gut gelegen, direkt an der Piste. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer ist zweckmäßig aber nicht gemütlich. Das 5 Gänge Abendmenü war meistens sehr gut. Für ein 5 Sterne Hotel erwarten wir uns aber Perfektion, im speziellen um den Preis den wir bezahlt haben._x000D_
Die Küche hat es nicht geschafft innerhalb einer Woche zwei weiche Eier zu servieren. Im Behälter für die Frühstückseier waren immer harte Eier, obwohl am Schild weiche Eier ausgeschildert waren. Wir kamen um 9 Uhr zum Frühstück und es waren keine Semmeln, Croissants oder anderes für uns interessantes Gebäck vorhanden. Wartezeit 15 Minuten bis zumindest Semmeln verfügbar waren._x000D_
Die Servietten beim Abendessen hatten meistens Löcher oder der Saum war geöffnet. Wir erhielten Handtücher mit Löchern im Zimmer._x000D_
Statt den in Österreich üblichen Ham and eggs bekamen wir zwei Spiegeleier auf zwei Blatt kalter Extrawurst._x000D_
Die Krönung aber waren die Palatschinken, welche wir statt dem Abenddessert bestellt hatten: geliefert wurden kalte dicke Palatschinken mit ein wenig Marillenmarmelade. Wir haben diese zurück geschickt, und gebeten frische zu bringen. Bekommen haben wir die selben, welche einfach in der Pfanne warm gemacht wurden und dabei verbrannten._x000D_
Ich habe mich mehrmals bei der Rezeption über diese Unzulänglichkeiten beschwert, geändert hat das aber wenig._x000D_
Ich habe eine Entschädigung von ca. 1000 Euro erwartet, gutgeschrieben hat man uns 200._x000D_
Bei einem Preis von 4.300 Euro für eine Woche Halbpension._x000D_
Das Rivus sieht uns nie wieder.

Zum zweiten Mal hier gewesen , einmal im Sommer, einmal im Winter. Beide Male waren wir begeistert. Tolle Lage, hervorragendes Essen, konstant hohe Qualität. Absolute Empfehlung
