Tucked away from noise and nestled in the forest, this rustic retreat is the perfect spot for nature enthusiasts to find peace and relaxation. The holiday home is about 10 minutes from Cannero, where you can find various restaurants, cafes, a grocery store, a beautiful beach, and the promenade. Cannero Riviera is situated on the right bank of Lake Maggiore in a sunny and sheltered climatic position, and its beautiful lido allows for many water sports opportunities. The area also offers a variety of hiking trails nearby.

Getting there

Access/Parking: Follow the Piedmontese lakeside road (Locarno, Ascona, Brissago, Cannobio) until Cannero. Stay on the main road and pass through Cannero. After about 1.5 km, turn right towards Cassino and at the junction, take the third hairpin turn to the left after 500 m towards Ponte. After 100m, take the road on the right and after the third curve, you will see a white iron pavilion above the road with a Maria chapel, and right after that is the parking lot on the left side of the road. From here, take the footpath below the white pavilion and walk along the garden wall of the yellow villa until you reach the Rustico Orponte. To lock the Rustico, please press the door handle upwards.

Das Häuschen war schön eingerichtet. Es hat an nichts gefehlt , außer das Bett war uns zu hart.

Für Urlaub mit Hund wäre eine umzäunte Terasse bzw Grundstück von großem Vorteil. Auch im Interesse der dort lebenden Tiere. Eine Microwelle sollte in jeder Ferienunterkunft vorhanden sein. Auch sollte ein guter Besen und Wischgestänge vorhanden sein. Das Haus war sehr sauber und optimal für 2 bis 3 Personen, wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Das einparken am Grundstück war sehr schwierig, man muss das Auto drehen um auf das Grundstück zu fahren. Die Vermietung Marlies Zanetti war jederzeit erreichbar , freundlich, kompetent und hilfsbereit. Alles in allem ein erholsamer Urlaub.
