Holiday destination
Markdorf is an ideal starting point for hiking, cycling tours and excursions by bus, train or car. Lake Constance is only a few kilometres away and throughout the region you will find well marked cycle and hiking paths.

Getting there
Regardless from which direction you come, our house is easy to find. Drive towards "Stadtmitte" and follow the sign for "Gehrenberg". After the crosswalk and the narrow section, turn left into Spitalstraße. Our house is the fourth on the left side.

Herr Schwegler hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und die Wohnung gezeigt,zur Begrüßung bekamen wir eine gute Flasche Apfelsaft! Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, gemütlich und warm. Das Wetter hat leider nicht so mitgespielt wie wir es uns erhofft hatten, aber wir haben trotzdem eine sehr schöne Zeit in Markdorf verbracht.
Man kann dort sehr schön wandern oder die Gegend mit dem Rad erkunden. Unsere Fahrräder durften wir im Carport abstellen,was sehr angenehm war.
Wenn wir noch mal in diese Richtung fahren würden, dann gern auch wieder in die Wohnung mit dem Schlossblick!

Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung ist sauber und hat alles was man braucht und einen schönen Balkon mit einem tollen weiten Ausblick. Markdorf ist nicht zu groß und nicht zu klein und hat eine schöne Altstadt mit Wochenmarkt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind genug da und der Bahnhof ist auch nicht weit. Man kann das Auto auch mal stehen lassen denn es fährt stündlich ein Zug zwischen Friedrichshafen und Radolfzell und stündlich ein Bus zwischen Ravensburg und Konstanz (auf der Fähre von Meersburg nach Konstanz :) ) Da Markdorf etwas vom Bodensee weg ist ist man auch schnell im Hinterland mit Döfern, Wäldern, Bergen und Aussichten.
