Holiday destination
La Tinaia is a typical farmhouse located in the beautiful hills south-west of Florence, 10 km from the city centre, which can be reached by tram in 18 minutes. The tram stop is a 10-minute drive away. From here, you can reach the most beautiful places in Tuscany in less than an hour.
There are numerous Italian Touring Club hiking trails in the surrounding area, which can be explored on foot or by mountain bike.
Getting there
From motorway A1 (Milano-Roma):
approaching Florence exit Firenze Scandicci. Pay at the toll and take Fi-Pi-Li direction Pisa on your right. Continue on the Fi-Pi-Li for approx. 13k. Take the exit Ginestra F.na Drive through two roundabouts direction Cerbaia approx 3.5k to San Vincenzo a Torri. In front of the church on your right take the next left into Via San Niccolo. Continue up the hill approx 4,5 km. The "Agriturismo La Tinaia" is on the left side of the street.

Host informationWe are Tina and Franco, and in 1998 we left Florence to live in the hills surrounding the city. Until 2024, we produced wine and oil, but now we focus solely on our guests.
We love good food and living surrounded by nature.

Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einer idyllischen Lage in den Weinbergen bei Scandicci. Es ist paradiesisch ruhig und erholsam. Der Pool war immer eine schöne Erfrischung an heißen Tagen. Die Gastgeber Franco und Tina waren sehr hilfsbereit hatten immer gute Tipps für Ausflüge. Ein Highlight war das Menü, welches Franco und Tina an einem Abend für die Gäste des Hauses zubereiteten.
Das gesamte Haus und der Garten sind sehr sauber und gepflegt.
Mit der Staßenbahn konnte man von Scandicci aus bequem Florenz erreichen.

Wir waren von dem Anwesen von Tina und Franco total begeistert, es fehlte an nichts. Mit der S-Bahn in Scandicci kann man unproblematisch und schnell nach Florenz kommen. Nach einem anstrengenden Tag mit vielen Eindrücken in Florenz war es für uns als Familie wunderschön am Abend in die ruhige Umgebung des Hauses zurückzukommen und noch am Pool zu verweilen.
Wir werden sicherlich nochmals wiederkommen - sehr zu empfehlen.
