Salem Castle (a former monastery) is a world heritage site. For the past 100 years, it is being run as a boarding school, farm and vineyard. It can be reached easily on foot or by bike. The Affenberg in Salem is a few minutes away by car. The Salem Valley and the Salemer Aach nature reserve are ideal for bike tours, hiking trips or joggers.

The house is located in a quiet residential area. Local amenities such as supermarkets, bakeries, drink stores, butchers, pharmacies and an organic food store can be reached quickly. The Salem-Mimmenhausen train station is a few 100 m away. You can reach Überlingen in 15 minutes by regional train. With the regional bus you can go on excursions in the region. You can take your bikes with you.

Das Haus Seerose ist ein wunderschönes und sehr komfortables Haus mit viel Platz und einer wunderschönen großen Terrase mit Zugang zum Garten. Die Küche ist großzügig eingerichtet und es ist alles vorhanden angefangen von Gewürzen, Kaffee Verschiedene Teesorten und vieles mehr. Sogar ein Britta-Filter mit neuer Kartusche ist vorhanden. Es fehlt nichts . Hervorzu heben ist die sehr freundliche Gastgeberin, die sich sehr viel Zeit genommen hat, uns alles zu erklären und uns viele Tipps u.a. für ausgezeichnete Restaurents und Sehenswürdigkeiten gegen hat. 5 Sterne sind mehr als verdient.

Auch für Familien können wir das sehr schöne und saubere Ferienhaus (mit super ausgestatteter Küche!) weiterempfehlen. Es gibt eine sehr gute Infrastruktur vor Ort, und ein tolles Freizeitangebot für Kinder. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen!
