Holiday destination

Berchtesgadener Land is located in the very south-east of the Bavarian Alps and at a distance of only 20 km to Salzburg. Its most prominent landmark is Mount Watzmann (2,713 m above sea level). Here you will be spending your holidays in Germany’s only high Alpine national park. World-famous Lake Königssee and its peninsula of Saint Bartholomew are further landmarks of our holiday region with its breathtaking nature. There is something to do for everyone in Berchtesgaden whether you prefer doing sports or relaxing, in summer, as well as in winter, e.g. hiking, mountaineering, climbing, biking, Nordic-walking, golfing, rafting, paragliding, It is a distance of only 20 km to Salzburg with all its Christmas Markets and Christmas music events.

Getting there

By car,From Munich A8 motorway Munich-Salzburg: take exit Bad Reichenhall, follow main road B20 to Berchtesgaden, passing Bad Reichenhall and Bischofswiesen. From Berchtesgaden take road B305, direction Salzburg. In the small community of Unterau turn right and follow the main road B319 to Oberau. Pass the church, then turn left into Lärchecker Weg. Drive up this street for around 2 km, it leads through a wood, always follow the sign “Gästehaus Lärcheck”. Our guesthouse is the last one on the right hand side, on top of a beautiful high plateau, house number 42 (some navigation systems may only find their way up to nr. 10 – so you had better follow the signs).

Eine wunderschöne und empfehlenswerte Ferienwohnung. Wir haben 2 sehe schöne Wochen in der Wohnung Morgensonne verbracht. Eine sehr saubere Wohnung mit toller Lage auf der Alm. Eine liebenswerte und sehr hilfreiche Gastgeberin. Jeden Morgen lag die Morgenpost vor der Tür mit nützlichen und Hinweisen für Ausflugstips und Wanderziele. Schon bei Ankunft haben wir Kuchen , Kaffee Obst, Wein und viele nette Kleinigkeiten vorgefunden die den Start in den Urlaub perfekt gemacht haben. Wir waren rundherum zufrieden. Saubere Wohnung , sehr gute Betten. Alles Top. Wir können die Wohnung Morgensonne sehr empfehlen. Danke auch noch an die liebe Gastgeberin Frau Grassl.

Wir waren in der FeWo "Gipfelzauber" mit einem traumhaften Blick auf den Untersberg. Die Wohnung war liebevoll eingerichtet und es fehlte an nichts. Man fühlt sich als Gast herzlich willkommen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall im nächsten Jahr wieder!
