Holiday destination
The municipality of Niedernsill (approx. 885 m above sea level) is situated right in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park and is surrounded by well-known ski resorts, such as Zell am See and Kaprun.
Niedernsill offers our guests an attractive leisure program in both summer and winter.
For example, you can participate in guided hikes. From family hikes to several-hour high mountain tours, there's something for everyone in the program.
Or maybe you just want to enjoy the peace and quiet, whether in our garden or at the swimming pool/lake - no problem.
If the weather isn't cooperating, the National Park Centre in Mittersill or one of our indoor swimming pools (Kaprun or Zell am See) are great alternatives.
Getting there
Highway Munich/Innsbruck - Kiefersfelden - exit Kufstein Süd - Kitzbühel - Jochberg - coming from Pass Thurn, turn right in Mittersill towards Kaprun-Zell am See, continue for about 12 km until you reach Niedernsill
From Salzburg (A1)
from the Salzburg motorway junction (A1) take the motorway (A10) towards Graz, exit Bischofshofen, direction Zell am See, in Schüttdorf before the bypass tunnel drive towards Mittersill, about 10 km to Niedernsill
Leave the roundabout in Niedernsill at the exit Steindorf (towards Spar), drive straight uphill, in the left curve go over the bridge of the Steinbach, follow the road, pass the right turn towards Sonnberg, after about 100 m you will reach our farm!

Die Wohnung war geräumig, sauber und wunderschön eingerichtet. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet. Veronika und Rene waren wunderbare Gastgeber, sehr freundlich, nett und stets hilfsbereit. Wann immer wir sie um etwas baten, waren sie immer bereit, uns zu helfen. Wir würden gerne zurückkommen, aber dieses Mal für 14 Tage!
