Holiday destination
Re~barn is located on our farm in the old center of Essel, a village in the rural district Southern Heidekreis (Niedersachsen, Germany). The farm is still operated as a sideline (grain). Farm animals are no longer present. Essel belongs to the idyllic "Aller-Leine" valley and is surrounded by fields, meadows and forests. The "Aller" is close to the outskirts of the village. A good starting point for walks, hikes and bike rides in the countryside, or excursions within the surrounding area.
Getting there
Idyllic, but yet easy accessible - due to close connection to the A7 (exit "Raststätte Allertal"/"Schwarmstedt") we are easily accessible by car: from Hamburg (120 km), from Bremen (90 km) and from Hanover (50 km) to Essel. Parking area available in our yard.

Wir waren bereits das zweite Mal zu Gast im Re~barn._x000D_ Wir hatten wieder alle 4 Wohnungen gemietet und eine sehr schöne Woche dort verbracht. Die Wohnungen sowie der Gemeinschaftsraum sind sehr groß und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts. :-)_x000D_ Wir haben viele gemütliche Abende auf der Terrasse und am großen Esstisch verbracht._x000D_ _x000D_ In der Umgebung bekommt man alles für den täglichen Bedarf und kann sehr viel unternehmen._x000D_ _x000D_ Wir können es uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen ??_x000D_ Vielen lieben Dank

Ich weiß nicht, wie ich mich verhalten soll. Kritisiere ich tue ich den Betreibern unrecht. Lobe ich, bekomme ich vielleicht nächstes Mal kein Loft mehr ab. Schwierig..._x000D_ OK, bleiben wir bei den Fakten. Man kommt an und meldet sich bei den Inhabern. Keine aufgesetzte, professionelle Höflichkeit, nein echte, freundliche, überaus sympathische Menschen empfangen dich. Sie zeigen dir dein Loft und dir bleibt der Mund offen. Nicht, weil es keinen super mega Fernseher gibt, sonder weil die Räume mit viel Liebe zum Detail dekoriert und ausgestattet sind. Eine kleine, aber komplett ausgestattete Küchenzeile, ein super bequemes Bett und ein kleiner Tisch inkl. Einiger Sitzmöbel. Gemütlich. Das Badezimmer scheint komplett neu renoviert zu sein, alles in topp Zustand und super sauber. Man hat keinen ekligen Teppich, sondern Linoleum mit Fußbodenheizung._x000D_ Du trittst aus dem Lift und stehst im Hof. Das einzige was man hört sind Vögel und vielleicht das miauen der kleinen Katze, die neugierig umher schleicht._x000D_ Leider war ich beruflich hier, sodass ich nicht viel über die Gegend sagen kann, aber für Radtouren und Wanderungen ist die Gegend sicher gut geeignet. Habe im vorbeifahren auch ein Gewässer gesehen. Schade, zu wenig Zeit. Die kann man sich hier nehmen!
