The holiday rental Maison Les Amandiers is located in the department Var in Provence.
It is set amidst the beautiful landscape between Draguignan and Lorgues in a wine-growing area. It is the perfect starting point between the Verdon Gorge and the French Riviera with its many long sandy beaches between Nice and Aix-en-Provence to explore the whole region.
Verdon Gorge with the Lac de Sainte-Croix, a spectacle of nature, is set in an impressing landscape surrounded by picturesque villages and only a 40 min drive away.
You can go through the gorges by boat, swim in the crystal-clear lake or hike all year round.
Make also a trip to the numerous, apparently endless lavender fields around Valensole.
Getting there
Coming from Munich, it is between 900 and 960 km, depending whether you come via Italy and the Brennerautobahn or via Switzerland.
It is a pleasant ride of approx. 8 hours. Our guest will receive detailled directions.

Der Ort ist romantisch und charmant, wir haben eine wunderbare Woche verbracht.
Die Gorges du Verdon liegen ganz in der Nähe, ebenso die typischen mediterranen Dörfer.
