LOCATION AND SURROUNDINGS: the villa is a flat area, only the access is a slight, short uphill. It is located between the towns of Diano Marina and San Bartolomeo al Mare. The pedestrian area of Diano Marina is 1,3 km away, flat. The seafront and promenade of San Bartolomeo is 800m away.
The beaches can be easily reached on foot in a few minutes.
The closest beach establishment (private beach): 800 meters. The distance can be shortened, crossing the dismissed railway: this way, the beaches are about 500 meters away from the villa.
Diano Railway Station: 1,9 km.
Highway exit “San Bartolomeo al Mare”: 2,5 km.
Padel fields: 0,5 km.
Farmhouse (agriturismo) with typical menu: 0,5 km.
For cyclists: given the flat area in which the villa is located, it is possible to use your own bicycle without particular effort, being able to reach all the beaches of the Gulf of Diano in a practical and fast way. Furthermore, cyclists who want a longer ride can reach Imperia and the Ponente Ligure cycle path via the panoramic road called Incompiuta* (*cycle-pedestrian path between Diano Marina and Imperia Oneglia, without heavy traffic - at the moment the section is subject to closures for works, but in 2025 the complete reopening of the section is planned).

You can arrive by car, exit highway San Bartolomeo al Mare. The nearest airport is Nice, located 90 km far.

L'intera struttura è composta da tre case: una dove vive la famiglia che gestisce la struttura, una con due appartamenti più piccoli e la Villa Mimosa, con tre camere da letto e un divano letto nella cucina-soggiorno. Tutta la casa é climatizzata. Ogni finestra e ogni porta sono attrezzate con zanzariere. La proprietà dispone di una piscina aperta di acqua salata ben concepita e di spazi esterni molto curati._x000D_

La Villa Mimosa è molto ben attrezzata e soddisfa praticamente ogni esigenza. Ci piace fare la spesa nella zona e cucinare/grigliare spesso. La cucina e l'area esterna con cucina all'aperto, compreso i consigli dei proprietari, sono un vero sogno. L'appartamento è arredato con attenzione ai dettagli, quasi come se i proprietari stessi vivessero lì (legna e carbone per accendere il grill, prodotti per pulire il grill, spray antizanzare, repellente per zanzare e tanto altro)._x000D_

Sì, ci sono alcune regole da rispettare. Ma quando si sa che il proprietario ha progettato e costruito l'intera proprietà e quanto duro lavoro ci è voluto, si capisce che alcune regole sono necessarie per 1) garantire una buona convivenza tra le 3 case e 2) mantenere la proprietà bella e curata a lungo. Tuttavia, comunicando in modo educato e trasparente con i gestori, è possibile fare un'eccezione all'una o all'altra regola._x000D_

Il rumore, che altri trovavano fastidioso, non ci disturbava a finestre chiuse. Un posto fantastico: abbiamo già in mente di ritornare ;-)

Sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus, gepflegt und sauber. Der gemauerte Grill draußen ist ein Traum. Die Vermieter direkt nebenan, sehr freundlich. Drei Badezimmer mit 5 Kindern nach dem Meeresbesuch unbezahlbar. Einzigstes kleines Minus ist, dass man wirklich akribisch aufpassen muss, dass nicht zuviele Elektrogeräte auf einmal an sind, weil sonst die Sicherung nicht mitmacht. Man wird aber auch drauf hingewiesen und auch wo der Sicherungskasten ist um es wieder zu beheben. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden und hatten eine schöne Zeit.
