In the area you will find numerous gorges and ravines, the largest tunnel cave in the world, natural swimming lakes, etc. In less than an hour by car you can reach Salzburg, Berchtesgaden and the Königssee, Zell am See, Saalbach-Hinterglemm, the Wilder Kaiser, Pillersee, Walchsee, Chiemsee and more.
Holiday destination
The centre of Lofer, a supermarket, the outdoor swimming pool and the nearest inn can be reached on foot in a few minutes. The mountain railway is 800m away. This takes you up to "Austria's most beautiful hiking mountain" in summer and the ski area, which has been awarded for "maximum family friendliness", in winter. The "Steinplatte", another ski area belonging to the "3-country recreation zone" is less than 10 minutes away by car. For mountain tours, mountain biking or pleasure cycling, you can start right from the front door.
Getting there
From the north and west: via the A8/A93 Munich - Innsbruck motorway, Oberaudorf exit via Walchsee, Kössen (B172) and Erpfendorfer Landesstraße (L39) to Lofer.
From the east: via the Westautobahn A1 Vienna - Salzburg, exit for Wals/Lofer via federal road 21 and 178 as well as 311 to Lofer.
From Salzburg Airport, Salzburg Central Station or Bad Reichenhall Train Station: take the 260 bus to Lofer.

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in der FeWo Loferama. Die Wohnung ist voll ausgestattet, es fehlt an nichts und hat einen traumhaften Bergblick auf die Loferer Steinberge. Sehr erholsamer Schlaf. In der Umgebung gibt es sehr viele Wander- und Erlebnismöglichkeiten, die wir genutzt haben, z.B. die Saalachtaler Naturgewalten. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben schon lange keine FeWo gehabt, in der wir uns so wohl gefühlt haben.
Die Betten sind toll, die Aussicht super, die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen!
Vielleicht wäre ein Staubsauger IN der Wohnung noch nett, aber wir konnten uns einen aus dem Keller holen- war auch okay.
Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub, Lofer hat uns sehr gut gefallen, da es nicht zu groß war, man aber alles vor Ort hat, was man braucht.
Wir haben direkt für nächstes Jahr wieder gebucht
