The island of Juist is one of the East Frisian Islands and is often called the most beautiful sandbank in the world! The island is car-free and just 500m wide but 17km long. The landscape of Juist is characterized by dunes, meadows, sand and sea. The Winkelschiffchen is just a few meters from the nearest beach entrance (and dog beach). It is only a few minutes' walk to the town center and the beach.
