Holiday destination
The "House am Strand" is located approx. 150m away from the main beach of Glücksburg, on the hill above the Strand Hotel. You find a selection of restaurants and bistros a few minutes walk away from the house as well as the yacht marina, sailing school, play grounds for kids, a forstest and a planetarium. Enjoy a huge nature resort close by as well as all kinds of opportunities for water sports, golf, walking and cycling.
Getting there
You reach the "Haus am Strand" the easiest by car. There are two parking places exclusively available for our guests. Being located close to the city of Flensburg you can reach the house as well by train and other public transport options without problems.

Tolle Lage zum Strand , vielfältige Rad- und Wanderwege, hervorragend ausgestattetes Haus.
Einkaufen und Restaurants in der Nähe, sehr angenehmer Kontakt mit dem Vermieter.

Wir waren mit unseren fünf Kindern eine Woche in dem "Haus am Strand" und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir sind mit zwei Autos angereist und haben uns über die zwei vorhandenen Parkplätze gefreut. Der Check-In Prozess war super einfach, da man vor der Anreise einen PIN für die Haustür bekommt. Die Küche hat so gut wie alles, was man braucht und im Keller steht noch zusätzlich eine große Kühl- und Gefrierkombi (Waschmaschine und Trockner sind auch vorhanden). Die Betten waren sehr bequem (qualitativ hochwertige Matratzen, Marke Bodyguard). Ein Highlight ist die große Sauna im schönen Garten. Auch unsere Kinder haben hier mal das Saunieren kennengelernt. Nett ist auch, dass zwei verschiedene Aufgusskonzentrate bereitstehen._x000D_
Der Hauptvorteil des Hauses ist aber die Lage!!! Man läuft eigentlich nur über den Parkplatz des Strandhotels und ist dann am Strand. Dieser ist überschaubar aber absolut ausreichend. Es gibt Strandkörbe und eine nette Seebrücke. Zudem sind zwei Lokale und ein Kiosk direkt am Strand. Für unsere Kinder war es super, dass man dort sehr gut mit dem SUP-Board fahren kann. Der Badespaß wurde dann noch durch eine schwimmende Plattform und der Möglichkeit von der Seebrücke ins Wasser zu springen, deutlich erhöht! Unsere Kinder waren teilweise bis nach 22 Uhr am Strand. Wir Eltern konnten nett beim Pier 54 mit einem Getränk sitzen und unsere Kinder beobachten._x000D_
Wir haben einen Tagesausflug nach Flensburg und nach Sylt gemacht. Man braucht von Glücksburg bis nach Sylt knapp zwei Stunden (mit dem Autozug). Hervorzuheben ist auch der sehr freundliche und direkte Kontakt zu Herrn Riedl (Vermieter), den man per Mail und Handy erreicht und alles zu unserer absoluten Zufriedenheit geregelt hat. Ich kann dieses Ferienhaus mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen!
