Holiday destination
Shopping facilities are approx. 1.5 km away, the Baltic Sea beach Weidefeld, which is free of tourist tax, is a 10-minute drive away and a bathing spot on the Schlei is 80 m away. Slipway for water sports and a nice children's playground are also only 80 m away from the holiday home Pippa.
The picturesque harbour town of Kappeln (approx. 3 km away) enchants with maritime flair. Restaurants are lined up along Kappeln harbour, bordered by the old town. Old smokehouse, museum harbour and Angelner steam railway: tradition is held in high regard in Kappeln. Enjoy a boat trip on the Schlei.
Discover the picturesque Schlei villages (best by bike). Water sports are also very popular in the Schlei region. Visit the towns of Schleswig (with the Viking museum Haithabu), Flensburg or the seaside resort of Eckernförde. The Geltinger Bay north of Kappeln is known for its beautiful and numerous natural beaches and a large nature reserve with wild horses and numerous bird species. There is much to discover!
Getting there
By car (from the south): A7 to Rendsburg, B203 to Eckernförde, Eckernförde-Kappeln or A7, A215 to Kiel, B76 Eckernförde, Eckernförde-Kappeln.
By train: train ride to Eckernförde, Bus 3010 Kappeln/Kopperby. During the saison (until the end of October): Kappelner Dampfeisenbahn Eckernförde-Kappel (especially at the weekends).

Host informationMy name is Kerstin Lueckow. My husband and I bought recently the very cozy holiday home "Pippa" (Danish style) in Kappeln/Kopperby . We start the rental at the beginning of October 2021.

Dieses Haus ist der absolute Volltreffer. Wir haben bereits zweimal eine Woche in den Herbstferien hier verbracht. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Das Haus hervorragend ausgestattet und sehr liebevoll und detaillreich eingerichtet._x000D_
Unser Hund war sofort entspannt und wir auch. Die Lage ist toll. Die Schlei direkt vor der Haustür und eine tolle Gassirunde zum Laufen._x000D_
Wir werden in diesem Jahr in den Sommerferien 2 Wochen hier verbringen und freuen uns sehr auf die Strände am Geltinger Birk und gemütliche Abende auf der schönen Terrasse des Hauses._x000D_
In der Umgebung gibt es viel zu unternehmen, Alles in Ruhe und sehr entspannt. Das schätzen wir besonders._x000D_
