The mountain-village is a high valley 1.150 meters above sea level in the "Nature Park South-Blackforest" (award winner for "Family vacation") that is facing the south and therefore bathed in sunshine.
Todtnauberg is state-approved as an elevated health-resort and therefore the highest located health-resort in the Black Forest.
It is a perfect place to enjoy the nature, but at the same time centrally located to start one of the numerous trip destinations in the surroundings. Highly recommandable are the cities Freiburg (26 km), Basel (CH 63 km) or Colmar (F 77 km).
If you rather want to stay in the village of Todtnauberg, the location of the apartment offers a huge number of various activities, such as skiing, hiking, mountainbiking, climbing, swimming or just relaxing.
Todtnauberg has a small village store with a cafe and several restaurants in walking distance. Larger purchases can be done in the city Todtnau that is just a few minutes away. by car.

Wir hatten 5 herrliche Tage in der Fewo Stübenbächle. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll, liebevoll und hochwertig eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts. Die Lage ist herrlich und ruhig. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war unkompliziert und herzlich.

Ich hatte 10 wundervolle Tage im Schwarzwald. Die erste Woche hat es der Wettergott sehr gut mit mir gemeint und ich war tagsüber unterwegs. Abends hab ich es mir dann Zuhause gemütlich gemacht und ab und zu auch den Ofen befeuert, was ich sehr genoss. Aber auch in den letzten 3 Tagen, an denen es doch eher feucht und ungemütlich draußen war konnte ich meinen Urlaub in der sehr gemütlichen und komfortablen Ferienwohnung vollauf genießen. Für Fragen, Wünsche und Anregungen gab es sehr netten WhatsApp-Kontakt und dann auch noch einen persönlichen Besuch.
Nur zu empfehlen und weil es noch vieles zu sehen gibt, komme ich ja doch vielleicht wieder.
