Our personal tips for excursions and restaurants are composed in a folder in our holiday apartment, so that you may make a good choice of all the possibilities.
Holiday destination
You will find "Unsere Ferienwohnung" on the first floor in a small housing complex. Within a 2-3 min. walk you are at the mainstreet with lots of shops and restaurants.
Fortunately no mountain climbing is necessary to reach "Unsere Ferienwohnung" after enjoying a dinner in town in the evening.
It is only a 2 minutes walk over a meadow to a bakery, EDEKA, ALDI and Penny.
Braunlage with its Wurmberg offers numerous activities throughout the whole year. Many shops, restaurants, a minigolf course, indoor swimming pool and a ice pavilion are waiting for you.
Getting there
Please observe the speed limits, there a several speed cameras!
From the North:
From the B4 from Luneburg, Uelzen, Gifhorn on the A391 in the direction of Brunswick, following the motorway-signs to Bad Harzburg. From Bad Harzburg on the B6 and later in the B4 to Braunlage. There take the exit Braunlage Mitte.
Alternatively:
On the A7 Hanover-Kassel until exit Rhüden / Harz, then on the B82 / B6 / B4 via Goslar and Bad Harzburg to Braunlage.
From the South:
On the A7 Kassel - Hanover until exit Göttingen / North, then B27 via Herzberg and Bad Lauterberg until Braunlage.
