Privlaka is a picturesque tourist and fishing village located on a spacious, flat peninsula. Enclosed on all three sides by the crystal sand and mantle beaches, it is the most important link between the oldest Croatian royal city of Nin in the northeast and the island of Vir in the west. On the regional road Zadar-Nin-island Vir. Attractions are known for fishing tradition, which has been passed down from generation to generation for decades. Along the very harbor to the west begins a promenade that covered almost the entire peninsula and offers a view of an unforgettable sunset.
Clean air and medicinal black mud make this location attractive to people with health problems such as asthma, rheumatism, arthritis, etc. The town is known for its sabunarians, people who painstakingly extracted the sand from the sea, and after the Second World War built the white city of Zadar, only a 15-minute drive away.
