Depending on the season. Mountain hiking. Rafting on the Gail, only 3 KM away. Nearby ski resorts: Kötschach-Mauthen, Obertilliach, Nassfeld. And of course, water sports on the countless lakes here in Carinthia. Adventure pools in Kötschach-Mauthen, 13 Km away. Or Arta Therme on the Italian side. Scenic flights at the airfield in Nikolsdorf, or excursions to the Grossglockner, Austria's highest mountain, or to the nearby Puster Valley and the Dolomites. And so much more to discover here in the Lesachtal.
Holiday destination
With a fantastic view stretching to the Klagenfurt Basin, Slovenia, and Italy, you will be rewarded upon reaching our house situated at an altitude of 1220 meters. Our mountain house is peacefully located just below the mountain forest in the "most pristine valley in Europe." Nestled in the nature of Lesachtal, it's not far to the Grossglockner or the Italian Dolomites, and even a trip to Klagenfurt or the Adriatic Sea is just a stone's throw away by car. Or simply take a hike on our surrounding mountains.
Getting there
From Germany take the A7, Reutte, Fernpass, Innsbruck, Brenner, Brixen, Pustertal, Sillian, Lesachtal, Birnbaum, Kornat.
(Buy the vignette in time at the gas station, from the A12 motorway towards Innsbruck toll is required). The Brenner also from the toll station Schönberg, and then at the Italian toll booth take a ticket and at the exit in Brixen at the toll booth pay a few Euros.
Or take the A8, Munich, Kufstein, Kitzbühel, Mittersill, Felbertauern Tunnel (subject to toll), Matrei, Lienz, Oberdrauburg, Kötschach-Mauthen, Lesachtal, Birnbaum, Kornat.

Wer Zeit zum Erholen und Auspannen sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Die Ferienwohnung ist gemütlich eingerichtet, sehr gepflegt und der Ausblick vom Balkon ist Atemberaubend. Sehr freundliche und herzliche Gastgeber die mit Rat und Tat immer gerne zur Seite stehen. Vielen Dank an Dolores und Jürgen, für die schöne Zeit.

Allein der morgendliche Ausblick vom Balkon beim Frühstück oder Abendessen ist unfassbar idyllisch._x000D_
Die Wohnung ist sehr gepflegt und sehr sauber._x000D_
Es gibt nichts was einem fehlt._x000D_
Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war einfach und unkompliziert so wie man es sich wünscht._x000D_
Die Ferienwohnung befindet sich im ruhigen Birnbaum und ist bestens geeignet für alle die ein paar ruhige Tagen suchen oder zum Wandern das Lesachtal erkunden wollen. Es kann direkt vom Haus aus losgewandert werden um die 2 Hausberge bis auf 2100 hnm zu erkunden._x000D_
Außerdem ist es für alle am besten geeignet die gerne Kajak fahren. Der Einstieg Birnbaum Nostrabrücke ist in 5 Minuten mit erreicht._x000D_
