Holiday destination
Our holiday home is located in an ideal location between the railway station, the harbour, a bathing bay and a North Sea beach. The "Lotsenviertel" ("Pilots' Quarter") shopping street is very close by our place. The "Elbe" international shipping route can be reached in less than ten minutes on foot - you can watch giant container ships and passenger ships (e.g. the "Queen Mary 2") drifting by peacefully there. The Cuxhaven mudflats are part of the Lower Saxon Wadden Sea National Park. How about going on a mudflat hiking tour or a journey on the mudflat wagon over the sea bed to the offshore island of Neuwerk, or taking a trip to Helgoland, Germany's only deep sea island, where you can enjoy some duty free shopping? Or why not take a trip out to the banks of seals where the young seal pups bask and laze about in the sun?

Sehr schöne Wohnung in einer hervorragenden Lage. Sehr sauber und maritim eingerichtet. Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeber, die sich als äußerst hilfsbereit und freundlich erwiesen haben. Wir sind mit einem Baby angekommen und uns wurde sogar ein privater Parkplatz angeboten. Das Restaurant Bäcker, der Strand sowie die alte Liebe sind problemlos zu Fuß erreichbar. Es gab auch einen Informationsordner für Touristen sowie einen detaillierten Wetterbericht für die kommenden Besucher. Wir würden dies unseren Freunden und der Familie empfehlen.
