If you're looking for activities, you'll find a waterskiing course in Tannenhausen (24 km away), an outdoor seawater pool with a water slide in Dornumersiel, a forest high ropes course in Aurich and a wind turbine in Westerholt that you can visit on a guided tour. There are riding stables in the region and you'll find the Schloss Lütetsburg Golf Club in Lütetsburg. Greetsiel with its narrow and picturesque streets and also the Pilsum lighthouse are close by. The distance to nightlife refers to a pub in Neßmersiel; you'll also find more nightlife in Aurich and Norden.

Holiday destination

The holiday home is located in the centre of Neßmersiel with direct access to a playground. Three generations of guests can feel at home here. A supermarket and bakery are less than 2 minutes' walk away. Neßmersiel is a quiet village that's a great place to relax. You can walk across the dike in 20 minutes and reach the beach by bike in 10 minutes. A mudflat hike to the island of Baltrum should not be missed. Boat trips to Baltrum are possible. The resort village of Neßmersiel also features a number of high-quality restaurants.

Getting there

By train There are train connections to Norden respectively Norddeich Mole. From there you go by bus (no regular service) or by taxi By car A31 to exit 6, then via Aurich, Dornum to Neßmersiel, or A29 to exit B210, then via Wittmund, Dornumersiel to Neßmersiel. Brandgasse 2b is the second house on the right-hand side when viewed from the Edeka supermarket.
