2.5-room hut for sole occupancy, approx. 65 m², 2 floors (open gallery in the bedroom), fenced property, partial balcony, 2 bedrooms (open gallery), 1 bathroom with shower and toilet, stereo system, SAT-TV, Wi-Fi, collection of games, collection of books, furnished terrace, sun umbrella, loungers, brick grill, well trough, children's swing, ski boot dryer and storage room for skis and bikes in the outbuilding at the farm.

In the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park, between the impressive natural highlights of the Grossglockner and the world-famous Krimml Waterfalls, your very special vacation home awaits.
This charming hut in Uttendorf right at the edge of the forest, above the Tauern Cycle Path, survived the war as a former flight control barrack. In 1948, the ancestors of the current owners acquired the small house. Between 2017 and 2020, it was converted and lovingly renovated into the delightful vacation hut it is today.
From Barrack to Gem
From the landlord's yard, follow a short path (approx. 100 m) to the hut. Anticipation grows, and you can already imagine relaxing grill evenings on the terrace . In the on-site farm shop , you can buy high-quality organic products like milk, eggs, yogurt, and honey for breakfast.
The furnishings of your vacation hut are in the regional country house style, modern and cozy.
Rustic wooden beams and solid wood furniture create a cozy ambiance in the bright rooms.
The highlight of the small hut is the open gallery with its own sleeping area. From here, you can access the balcony that offers the best view over the town. Children will especially enjoy this space. They love the little peek-a-boo windows of the gallery and appreciate the proximity to the parents' bedroom with a direct passage on the ground floor.
A Paradise for families and romantics
In summer, alongside the impressive Tauern valleys of the Hohe Tauern National Park, you can enjoy the adventure swimming lake or the authentically recreated Celtic village. The Stubach Valley, with its unique forest and moor areas, lakes, and rivers fed by numerous glaciers, also fascinates young and old alike.
In winter, the children have "a huge blast" (a lot of fun) around your hut. The hill slope invites tobogganing and bob sledding. Even the first ski jumps could be attempted. Just 2 km away, there is also a small practice lift for first skiing attempts. For the adults, the location of the Weißsee Glacier World between Kitzbühel, Kaprun – Zell am See and Saalbach Hinterglemm is a guarantee for uninterrupted skiing fun. The family-friendly ski area stands for skiing enjoyment away from the hustle, stress, and rush, as well as the variety of winter pleasures off the slopes.
Tip: As an introduction to hiking pleasure, the circular hiking trail Tannwald directly behind your vacation hut is recommended. The children will have a lot of fun collecting pine cones, roots, lichens & moss – with which they can craft great forest animals. All you need are toothpicks to assemble them.
