Holiday destination
Oldau is a little village in the Lüneburg Heath near Celle.
The nearest larger settlement is Winsen/Aller. Head there to find such attractions as an indoor and outdoor pool, a canoe rental shop and the Winsen Museum Farm with its old, half-timbered buildings and a post mill (a type of windmill).
There are also plenty of good restaurants, cafés and ice cream parlours that never fail to delight their guests.
The residential town of Celle offers lots of opportunities for day trips and sight seeing, such as Celle Castle and the stallion parade ("Hengstparade").
Canoeing on the Aller, Fuhse and Örtze rivers is a popular option.
The Serengeti Park safari adventure park and the Heide Park amusement park are both easily accessible from here.
