Cancellation Policy as per Article 1382 of the Civil Code
You can cancel free of charge up to 3 months before the agreed arrival date.
From 3 months to 2 weeks before the agreed arrival date, we will charge 3 days of the agreed total price.
Within the last 2 weeks before the agreed arrival date, the cancellation fee is 100% of the agreed total price.
If you do not take up the booked apartment for the agreed period without having cancelled, or in the case of late arrival or early departure, we will charge the full agreed total price.

Holiday destination
Our mountain farm with dairy cattle of the original Brown Swiss breed is located in the Ultental valley outside the village of St. Pankraz at an altitude of 1200m. Very quiet and sunny amidst its own meadows, you can enjoy a 360° panorama of the surrounding mountains down to the valley to the spa town of Meran.
A holiday at Maiernhof means a holiday in harmony with nature. Those looking for a contrast to everyday life and who would like to get to know the South Tyrolean way of life better are in the right place.
Children and parents enjoy the freedom of the farm, far from traffic and noise. They look forward to a real farm with cows, calves, cats, chickens, and rabbits.
Besides relaxing on the farm, there is also much to discover and visit in the surrounding area.
Getting there
Drive through the Ultental valley until you reach the first village, St. Pankraz. Turn right 500 meters past St. Pankraz, towards St. Helena. Follow the road until kilometer 4.5. There, turn right (sign for Maiernhof) and after 300 meters you will find our farm.

Maiernhof immer wieder!
Für uns gibt es keinen angenehmeren Aufenthalt in Südtirol.
Wir besuchen diesen Ort seit 2005 fast jedes Jahr. Wir genießen die wunderbar ruhige Lage und die angenehme Temperatur in 1.200 Metern Höhe, die Nähe zum Wald mit zahlreichen Wandermöglichkeiten hier und im gesamten Ultental. Dennoch sind Meran und Bozen sowie viele kulturelle Attraktionen relativ leicht zu erreichen.
Im Jahr 2025 feierten wir meinen 80. Geburtstag mit der Familie Laimer auf der Mariolalm und haben dort insgesamt 20 Mal übernachtet (10 Mal davon mit unserem Hund). Hoffentlich werden noch viele weitere Besuche folgen.

Komfortable und saubere Wohnung, abseits von Straße, Lärm und Licht gelegen. Im Maierhof können Sie Gelassenheit und Ruhe atmen, dank des Kontakts zur Natur und der stets lächelnden, hilfsbereiten und freundlichen Eigentümer. Die Anwesenheit von Tieren ist eine angenehme Attraktion für Kinder.
