Untouched nature and the coastal landscape in the Angeln region is waiting for you, free from mass tourism, huge hotels and resort taxes.
The villages in the rural area are full of golden rape and corn fields, medieval churches and old thatched cottages with lush farmers gardens.
The Baltic air in the Kneipp and health resort Gelting, the fantastic water quality of the numerous untouched beaches and the gentle hills in the area with their friendly residents is good for your body and soul.
There are also plenty of different leisure facilities such as surfing, kite surfing, sailing, tennis, cycling, hiking, walking, canoeing and rowing.

The route by car is simple: Take the country road K58 from Kappeln towards Gelting, 1.5 km before Rabenholz turn right into our Kastanienallee (chestnut avenue).

Wir haben mit sechs Erwachsenen, zwei Dreijährigen und drei Hunden in der Sattlerei übernachtet – und es war einfach wunderbar. Das Haus ist genau so eingerichtet, wie man es sich für ein Ferienhaus wünscht: hochwertiges Kochgeschirr, Hochstühle, Hundebetten, eine Waschmaschine und vieles mehr. Unser Badezimmer mit eigenem Bad, das über bodentiefe Fenster und direkten Zugang zum Garten verfügte, war ein Highlight. Der Garten ist geräumig und gepflegt, mit Brombeeren, die um die Ecke wachsen, und es gibt ein Trampolin sowie Pferde, die die Kinder beobachten können. Die Gastgeber sind da, wenn man sie braucht – durchweg familienfreundlich. Wir haben uns vollkommen wie zu Hause gefühlt und können es wärmstens empfehlen.

Meine Frau und ich verbrachten zusammen mit unseren zwei Hunden eine Woche in der Weißen Kate im Winter und genossen jede Minute. Das Haus ist liebevoll dekoriert, und der Holzofen sorgte jeden Abend für die richtige Wärme und Atmosphäre.
